It’s so nice to come across a place on the Gold Coast that creates a superb Thai dish.
The Thai are masters at creating magically Thai inspired themed restaurants, but we wanted more. We wanted to determine which of these served up the best Thai food on the Gold Coast. Our criteria taste/quality (first) and atmosphere (second). We experienced a range of spices, sauces, meats, seafood and vegetables and came up with our Top 3 best Thai Restaurants.
1. Bangkok Thai
This place is amazing. You can always tell the quality of the food by the freshness of the vegetables and the tenderness of the meat. And the sauces.. WOW! We’ve eaten here around about a dozen times between us and have largely agreed on a Tom Yum with Prawn entree and a Roast Duck main. But no point limiting yourself. Go with a group of friends, order a thousand dishes and set yourself in for the night. Not only is the food beautiful, but the service is second to none. We have been to both the Mermaid Beach and Chevron locations and loved both. Licensed & BYO

2. Changmai Thai
With its iconic elephant chairs and Thai-wonderland feel, the minute you walk , you expect nothing but great tasting Thai food. Well, that’s exactly what Chiangmai Thai delivers. Fresh flavours and a wide range of your favourite Thai dishes. The food and range of beverages is fantastic. Enjoy the experience!

3. Thai Silom
This is a favourite of locals and tourists alike and undoubtedly one of the best Thai Restaurants on the Gold Coast. Set in the heart of Queensland’s Gold Coast, under the Aria apartments in Broadbeach is Thai Silom. Serving up rich full flavours, Thai Silom is complemented by an immaculate traditional setting and excellent wait staff. This place is awesome! Open for Lunch and Dinner. Licensed and BYO.
