Gold Coast’s Best Public Swimming Pools

Water, glorious water!

Whether you’re into laps and working on your stroke, want a quick dip or need to entertain the kids on a hot day (or rainy day), an Aquatic Centre is a sure fire way to get fit, cool down and have some fun. The Gold Coast offers both indoor and outdoor swimming pool options. For the pool-less backyard peeps out there (or for those in need of a 50 metre lap pool!), one of the Gold Coast’s Aquatic Centres is the way to go. All the enjoyment without having to top up salt and chlorine every week and no scooping out leaves! A big shout out to the Gold Coast City Council- the guys who bring us the Aquatic Centres! General admission fees are affordable and they also offer pool passes for the die-hard Aquatic Centre junkies out there.  All Aquatic Centres are operated by onsite managers and have qualified staff on duty. They have lifeguards, kiosk facilities and chair lift access into at least one pool at each location. Here are what we think are the Top 3 best pools and aquatic centres on the Gold Coast.
